This page shows some of the things I've been working on recently.
Wooden Castle

I built this castle out of plywood nearly thirty years ago when my son was born. much as he enjoyed it, he eventually grew out of such things and moved on to more grown-up pastimes (computers).
So the castle has been languishing in a corner of the garage for years. That is until recently when I dug it out and thought I'd give it a bit of a facelift.
My son had decided he wanted a more forbidding-looking castle and so had painted it a horrible dark grey. The first job then was to sand all that off and give it a fresh coat of paint. A pleasing off-white colour this time!
The castle is seen here with some of his old Playmobil knights and men-at-arms.

The roof of the hall opens and the chamber can be accessed by an opening section of wall

On The Easel
As it may be only scribbles or rough sketches some of it is of course going to look a bit rough!
These sketches have now become quite old. Unfortunately I haven't had the impetus for doing any drawing or painting for several years now.

By The River

This is just a quick piccy done in acrylics on card to remember a recent day out with my wife by the River Thames at Medenham feeding the ducks.
